Small Groups at St. Andrew’s
Small
Group Ministry
As a
congregation seeking to grow in faith, we continue to foster small
group ministry. Small groups are part of the Christian tradition,
reflected in Jesus’ ministry, of gathering to live out the gospel
call for fellowship, worship, study, support, spiritual growth and
social change. We have a variety of groups because people have a
variety of gifts. Most groups are led by people in the
congregation.
In this
pamphlet you will find an overview of the groups currently
running. All groups are open groups. Some run for specific times
of the year. Some are for a specific purpose. Some are
short-term. Some are long-term. Some are larger. Some are
smaller. Some are specifically for men or women or children. We
hope you find opportunities to nurture the gifts God has given you
through one or more of the groups. Or, perhaps, God is calling
you to begin a new small group to share your gifts with others.
Come and
grow with us, as we seek to become a congregation of Small Groups.
Most groups run September to June.
