Church Groups

United Church Women (UCW)
This dedicated group of women work together for one purpose: "To unite all women of the congregation for the total mission of the Church and to provide a medium through which they may express their loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian Witness, Study, Fellowship, and Service." Members regularly hold special events and activities which not only promote goodwill within the church and the outside community, they also raise money for various charitable groups including the United Church of Canada’s Mission and Service Fund.

A. O. T. S. (As One That Serves)
AOTS is a men’s service club that is affiliated with the United Church of Canada, but is open to all men on a broad ecumenical basis. AOTS aims to promote fellowship, deepen the spiritual life of men, and develop an effective program of Christian service. AOTS stands for “As One That Serves”, which is taken from the statement by Christ: “I am among you as One that serves.” (Luke 22.27).
Club members enjoy the camaraderie of sharing, supporting, searching, studying, and serving together. AOTS fosters a good time for a good cause, mixing the social with the spiritual, as men of the church.
The men meet the first Sunday of each month at 7:45 am in Fellowship Hall. Our morning program consists of a great breakfast, a short business meeting, a devotion led by a member and a guest speaker. As always, all men are welcome to come out and join us for breakfast.
Our club members are involved in helping out the Church and community with various functions and donations. We hold money making ventures such as barbeques and indoor yard sales to help fund our community projects such as Kennesserie Camp and the school breakfast program.
Many of our members volunteer their time and expertise to help with maintaining the church building and property as well as the upkeep of Kennesserie camp. During the recent Church renovation project, the AOTS men carried out various construction activities such as demolition, painting, flooring, woodworking, cleaning, etc.
Upcoming activities include the Four County Fall Rally in Harrow, our Fall Indoor Yard Sale in October as well as the closing of Kennesserie Camp in October.
Our current membership is thirty four. All men are welcome to come out anytime and join in Christian Fellowship with a great group of men.

Men's Volleyball

Yes ! Believe it or not St. Andrews United Church has its own volleyball team! The team is comprised of 8 members from the church family and competes on Tuesday nights. Although the team is not one one the top 5 teams that play, they do enjoy the sportsmen-ship and a night of fun.

If you are interested in joining the men's volleyball team please contact the office for the team captains information.
